At the heart of all my work is the relationship I build with the client and this is a fundamental part of therapeutic change, ensuring that the child, young person or adult feels seen, heard and valued.
I offer a safe space where they can explore all aspects of their lives, their feelings, thoughts and experiences.
This can help them to make sense of what’s going on and find ways of coping when things are difficult, building emotional resilience, self-awareness and self esteem – and improving general wellbeing.
I offer one-to-one creative, outdoors and animal assisted therapeutic counselling to children (from as young as four), young people and adults. In our sessions, we are able to be outside in the wonderful environment, engage, interact with and observe the animals here, as well as have the opportunity for time in my counselling room where I have lots of creative resources.
This flexibility means that I am truly able to meet the client where they are at and support their unique needs.
Together we can address any strengths and difficulties including:
I also work with trauma, which may include early childhood trauma and have specialist training in complex trauma.
